Total sugarcane crushing should be 609.7 million tons in the 2024/25 harvest.

Brazil is leading the way in the world sugar trade. The gain in influence in this harvest reached 75% and, in this first two months of 2024, there was an increase in global demand for Brazilian sugar.

Expectations are that Brazil will export almost 3 million tons per month from June 2024 onwards.
